I had a Girl Scout camping trip this weekend. I have a Rugby game to ref next Saturday, I have a contest story I have to do for MV and I signed up for a summer writing project for MV, for which the first draft is due by Sunday. Can't go into any details right now, but I'll try to inch my way along with the Empire Beyond Mars serial...
In the meantime check out this badge I made (in about two minutes). I'm going to send it over to Anotherealm (for which I just re-registered also) and see if they adopt it.

Who was your first love?
I'm not sure what you mean.
I love my parents and my brothers.
I had a dog named Starlette that I loved very much.
I was very fond of a Dodge Omni that I owned. You might say I loved it.
I have always loved reading, camping and swimming. I love tackling people which led to my Rugby love.
As far as romance, well I think I was mistaken or infatuated or just plain twitterpated a couple times, but looking back I think Mrs. Prop is and was my one true love.
I remember the Dodge Omni - good luck to you!
I am very curious. Could you give me another hint?
My son is in St. Ed's Cub Scouts - but my kids don't attend St. Ed's.
St. Ed's was cleaning out the old scout closet and we found old Akela binders from the 70's and 80's. Your brothers and your mom were in there quite frequently. (So was my husband)
If your husband attended St. Ed's, with which brother (of mine) did he graduate?
Did you attend St. Ed's?
Yes I did attend St. Ed's - but that means I could be one of two people doesn't it?
Lots of people went to St. Ed's, but you are saying that you could only be former CC or former AZ?
I also wonder who your husband is. Did he graduate with me or one of my brothers?
Yep.
And...My husband didn't graduate with any of you.
How did you find this blog?
Are you enjoying it?
Have you read around in it?
I actually found it through you...
I was googling people and came across your bronze star bit in the Mundelein paper. It said to go to Miserable donuts and then I posted a "congrats" comment. That's when you directed me to this blog.
I find it amusing:)
Hopefully you find the blog amusing as well as the coincidence of finding it.
BTW is your last initial K now?
Is that what you were hoping for?
Elusive as usual I see Mrs. Anonymous!
I was HOPING you found the blog amusing, entertaining and/or interesting.
I was curious about the K.
What were you hoping I was hoping?
I don't know. I am not "K" though. It is "B".
Have I met Mr. B? I hope he and your children are well.
Are you registered with Classmates.com? I am, with photos.
I sincerely hope you are enjoying the blog and life is treating you well.
Yes you have met Mr. B - You, Ann, Myself and Mr. B were all at my Senior prom:) The kids are great. I have a boy - 10 and a girl - 7. Life is treating me well. I finally graduated from UIC last year and am working in the healthcare industry. We live in a historic Chicago bungalow in North Mayfair and just love being in the "old" neighborhood. It is fun to spend the summers at Gompers watching my kids play baseball. It is nice to still get to St. Ed's for scouts (BTW - Mr. B is the Cubmaster) My kids were there for a short time, but, unfortunately the education at Palmer is superior to St. Ed's these days.
I am surprised that you are working as a supervisor...I thought you were more the professor type.
I am on classmates.com but I am not a member - so I am not entitled to the perks of the website. I am glad you are well. It was fun finding you and being a pseudo-voyeur. Take care:)
Did you know that my brother still lives at the old house?
Congrats on the degree. I'm hoping that I can return to school eventually and become that professor.
When I had gotten my BA I figured I couldn't afford a new wife and grad school so I left school and started working for the Boy Scouts. Then I started working at Motorola just before my eldest was born. It's been manufacturing ever since, much to my chagrin.
I heard that he was living there through someone at St. Ed's.
I am going to continue on toward my master's. Once you start you shouldn't stop for too long or you loose your drive. It is a great feeling to get back. You have a whole new perspective as an adult.
You would be a great professor. I always pictured you as the scholarly type. Don't dismiss student loans. They are worth it!
